Artist Notes: "This drawing started out as a quick sketch of my youngest Daughter that turned into a much larger project. I very quickly fell in love with it as I couldn't help but continue to draw... adding more detail every evening until she looked like she could get up and dance right off the paper.

Thank you to my talented sister at Tallie Johnson Photography, for capturing the beautiful photo that was my inspiration! I am very pleased with how this drawing turned out; from the folds in the fabric, the softness of her skin and face, to the subtle reflection on the dance floor. This is a precious drawing and one that sparks great emotion in me. It is one that I plan on passing down to my daughter and will be a treasured keepsake for years to come."  - Ryan Kennedy
