Artist Notes: Each spring the Sandhill Crane migration occurs with 20,000 birds traveling from New Mexico, heading north. The San Luis Valley in Colorado offers the most beautiful backdrop of the Rocky Mountains along their migration path, and was my inspiration for this tranquil drawing.
