Artist Notes: There is something special about the quiet stillness of a winter forest. I wanted to capture that peaceful feeling in this drawing, with a snowshoe hare nestled among the Aspen trees, nearly blending into its snowy surroundings. I enjoyed exploring the textures of the tree bark and the subtle details of the hare, allowing the simplicity of the scene to speak for itself.
